:D one week down, 10 more to go!
Week one of classes is over now and I have to say I am pretty darn excited about it all. My Monday class is just a little Strategies for Success and it’s interesting but nothing fantastic. Its just a whole class on how to be a good student and a good professional but I get 4 credits for it plus we will work on our portfolios and our resumes so its all good :)
And then Tuesday I am in the Dental class pretty much from 8am until 4pm. Let me tell you: my butt was tired. Those little chairs are so uncomfortable after about oh the first 3 hours. That set aside, it’s super interesting! The first part of my day is in Dental Sciences and we learned alllll about the different parts of the teeth and the mouth and its filled with a lot of vocab. Here come the flash cards and highlighters galore! The second class started iff with the history of dental practices and is all about the environment of the office and the tasks of the assistant.
Its all so interesting! I am super excited and I promised myself I will remain positive and optimistic about everything because I really feel like I am gonna be happy with all this.
All I need now is to find a way to make it school on time by 8 every morning. YUCKY!

I want to start off saying just how thankful I am for my job and how it literally fell into my lap. It was like the answer to my prayers… (no surprise really. Have you met my God? He always provides.) I love the people i work with, its fairly simple work, i -get to eat cool snacks every day -string cheese, goldfish, applesauce, pretzels- and get to do crafts with the kiddies like decorating aprons and making pasta necklaces :D.
I have to remember to be grateful for it.
But its hard, especially with starting school this week. Both of my dental classes are on tuesday so i am literally in class all day. 8 am to 5:30 pm. Because of that, I cant work on tuesdays so starting tomorrow that puts me down to only 4 days a week. SUCKS! I definitely need every dime in order to pay rent and my car payment and gas/food. (plus i reallyyyyyy want to buy this fabulous coach purse thats only $30, and hey after not buying anything for myself in possibly months, i am pretty sure i deserve it. its been since like july.) SO… now i am on the hunt for a second job, a weekend gig plus maybe like one evening/night a week. I desperately need this to fall into place. I’ve put in quite a few applications in the past 3 days and tomorrow i will start calling places. FINGERS CROSSED! I want to be able to pay for everything and have a little extra just so im not so strapped all the freaking time. It’s stressful to be like that all the time.
BUT i will remain thankful for at least having some job.
Lord help.
Obviously this is my place to vent. thank you tumblr for understanding. If you dont, suck it.
One of my little brother’s best friends passed away on Friday. He was only 17 and definitely has left an imprint on all of our hearts. He was the most vivid and sweetest boy you could ever meet, always cracking jokes and making every one happy. My heart goes out to his parents and big brothers, the sweetest family you could ever imagine.
We all love you Kainen and will never forget how you touched our lives <3
